Join a well-established organisation seeking an experienced finance professional to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting activities. This role offers exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end closing, reporting, audit support, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Process supplier invoices, employee claims, customer billings, receipts, and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle intercompany accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare journal entries, month-end closing schedules, and supporting documentation for financial reporting.
  • Assist with group reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of financial information.
  • Support external audit processes by preparing schedules and coordinating required documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and established finance procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Specialist should have:

  • A Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, ideally within a commercial or corporate environment.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; experience with ERP platforms would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
