Job Description

  • Support monthly financial close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist with financial reporting processes and related regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor operational system activities and coordinate resolution of exceptional items.
  • Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and ageing reports to support business operations.
  • Partner with distribution and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial transactions and period bookings.
  • Act as a finance representative for system enhancements, process improvements, and change initiatives.
  • Support balance sheet reconciliations, substantiation activities, and finance control requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (completed or in progress) is advantageous.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance operations, financial reporting, or accounting.
  • Exposure to the insurance industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing commission accounting, distribution-related expenses, or reconciliations is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with finance systems, process automation, or data analytic tools would be advantageous.
