An exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate & Investment Banking professional to lead client coverage and franchise expansion across South Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, this role will focus on originating senior corporate relationships across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure-led opportunities.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute client coverage strategies across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
  • Originate and establish new-to-bank relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers and other senior decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities across corporate finance, structured finance, trade finance, working capital and global markets solutions.
  • Partner with product and sector teams to deliver integrated financing solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Drive cross-border banking opportunities through the organisation's international network and capabilities.
  • Lead strategic account planning, client presentations, credit discussions and transaction origination activities.
  • Maintain oversight of portfolio performance, credit disciplines, regulatory requirements and risk management standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of Corporate & Investment Banking experience covering large corporate clients within Asia Pacific.
  • Strong network of senior corporate relationships across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and/or Indonesia.
  • Proven track record of developing new client relationships and converting origination opportunities into sustainable revenue streams.
  • Demonstrated experience executing complex financing, lending, structured finance or investment banking transactions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate strategy, capital structures, corporate finance and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Broad knowledge of Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Trade Finance, Working Capital Solutions and Global Markets products.
  • Infrastructure sector experience is highly preferred.
  • Additional exposure to energy, resources and transportation sectors will be advantageous.
  • Investment Banking Coverage and/or Structured Finance experience would be highly regarded.
  • Strong stakeholder management, commercial judgement and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
