Financial Leadership & Governance

• Lead all core finance activities including financial control, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, statutory reporting, tax and audit.
• Ensure robust financial governance, controls and compliance across the organisation.
• Own the integrity, accuracy and insight of financial data, developing clear and actionable reporting.

Commercial Business Partnering

• Act as a true commercial partner to the business, supporting strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Provide forward‑looking financial insights, scenario analysis and challenge to drive profitable growth.
• Translate complex financial data into clear commercial recommendations for non‑finance stakeholders.

Operational & Procurement Engagement

• Work closely with procurement and operational teams to analyse cost drivers, margins and efficiency opportunities.
• Support supplier negotiations, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Develop a deep understanding of operational performance and commercial levers.

Matrix & Stakeholder Management

• Operate effectively within a matrix reporting structure, partnering with corporate, regional and functional teams.
• Influence without authority, balancing local business needs with group requirements.
• Build strong working relationships across finance, operations, procurement and leadership teams.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Foster a culture of ownership, curiosity and continuous improvement.
• Improve financial capability across the wider business through coaching and collaboration.
