Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesLead End-to-End Operations

  • Oversee layer farm, egg grading, processing, warehouse, maintenance, quality, and safety operations.
  • Ensure optimal production performance, yield, efficiency, and cost management across all operational functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.



Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, operational workflows, and resource utilization.
  • Implement best practices across farm and processing operations.
  • Support modernization, automation, and operational enhancement initiatives where appropriate.



People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a management team comprising multiple functional heads.
  • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven, and people-centric culture.
  • Manage and engage a diverse workforce across different nationalities and backgrounds.
  • Drive succession planning, workforce capability, and organizational development.



Food Safety, Biosecurity & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, animal health, biosecurity, food safety, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain high operational standards across all sites and functions.
  • Partner closely with leadership on risk management and business continuity initiatives.



Financial & Business Performance

  • Manage operational budgets and resources effectively.
  • Monitor production KPIs, efficiency metrics, and operational costs.
  • Support profitability improvement through enhanced operational performance and cost optimization.



The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • At least 8+ years of leadership experience within poultry, livestock, agriculture, food production, or integrated processing environments.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale operations, farms, processing plants, or integrated production facilities.
  • Experience managing multiple operational functions through a team of managers and supervisors.
  • Experience in layer farming, egg production, poultry processing, or livestock operations is highly preferred.



Technical & Business Expertise

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Layer farm operations
    • Egg grading and processing
    • Production planning
    • Warehouse operations
    • Quality and food safety systems
    • Maintenance and operational reliability
  • Knowledge of animal husbandry, livestock production, poultry operations, or veterinary-related environments is advantageous.



Leadership

  • Demonstrated success leading diverse and multicultural teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance operational performance with workforce engagement and change management.
  • Comfortable operating within a growing and evolving business environment.
