Job Description

  • Conduct HSE and operational compliance reviews across business functions to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement, maintain, and enhance Safety & Health Management Systems in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Review risk assessments, safe work procedures, and operational processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Perform workplace inspections, audits, and compliance assessments, driving timely corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support internal and external audits, customer assessments, emergency preparedness exercises, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Coordinate HSE training programmes and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide practical guidance on workplace safety, environmental compliance, and operational risk management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Safety Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE, operational compliance, risk management, or related functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Hands-on experience managing or supporting Health, Safety & Environment management systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence operational teams.
  • Certified Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) and/or Fire Safety Manager certification will be advantageous.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
