Job Description

Reporting to the senior legal leadership team, you will support a broad spectrum of legal and structuring activities across private wealth and investment matters, including:

  • Assist with wealth preservation and succession planning structures involving trusts, foundations, holding companies, and related entities
  • Review and prepare legal documentation relating to estate planning, governance, and wealth transfer arrangements
  • Conduct legal reviews of private market and fund investment documentation, identifying key commercial and structural risks
  • Support selected direct investment transactions, including due diligence, documentation review, restructurings and corporate exercises
  • Liaise with external law firms, tax advisers, trustees, and specialist consultants across multiple jurisdictions
  • Draft internal policies, legal templates, governance documents, and advisory memoranda
  • Contribute to regulatory, compliance, corporate governance, and risk management initiatives across the business

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • Qualified lawyer with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience gained within private practice or an in-house environment
  • Strong academic credentials and a solid legal training foundation
  • Exposure to one or more areas including private wealth, trusts and estates, investment funds, corporate law, or private investments
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research and prepare high-quality legal documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound commercial judgement
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
