Job Description

  • Develop and optimise visual SLAM algorithms for industrial applications.
  • Analyse and integrate sensor data, including cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs, into the SLAM framework.
  • Research and implement advanced techniques to improve localisation and mapping accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy SLAM solutions into production systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the technology team.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in visual SLAM and related technologies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead / Senior Visual SLAM Engineer should have:

  • A strong academic background in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in visual SLAM, computer vision, or robotics algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Experience with sensor integration, including cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs.
  • Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as ROS, OpenCV, or PCL.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
