Our client is an established investment management platform with a deep focus on Southeast Asia. Since its inception, the firm has expanded across multiple investment strategies including venture capital, growth equity, private credit, digital assets and public equities.

Job Description

Reporting to the investment team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting trading and investment activities across the public equities platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute equity trades in accordance with investment and compliance guidelines
  • Monitor market movements, liquidity conditions and trading opportunities
  • Maintain trading records, portfolio data and transaction reporting
  • Support portfolio managers in portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring
  • Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on listed companies and sectors
  • Prepare investment analysis, company updates and market commentary
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects across portfolio management and investment operations



The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or a related discipline

  • Approximately 3+ years of experience gained within equity trading, investment research, asset management, hedge funds, proprietary trading or related investment environments
  • Good understanding of equities markets, trading mechanics and portfolio management principles
  • Experience analysing financial statements, company fundamentals and market developments
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in Excel and financial data platforms
  • Ability to work independently in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
  • Interest in Southeast Asian markets and investment opportunities
