About Our Client

Our client is an established international financial institution seeking an experienced Treasury leader to head its Singapore Treasury and Asset Liability Management function. This is a senior appointment with broad responsibility across liquidity, funding, financial markets, treasury risk and team leadership.

Job Description

  • Lead the Treasury and ALM functions, covering liquidity management, funding strategy, balance-sheet management, financial markets and treasury risk.
  • Manage and develop treasury dealers while overseeing dealing activities, positions and transactions within approved limits and controls.
  • Review liquidity positions, market developments and treasury performance, providing strategic recommendations to senior management and ALCO.
  • Ensure Treasury activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and established risk frameworks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, regulators and market participants while supporting business growth and market presence.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience across bank treasury, financial markets, liquidity management and asset liability management.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products, funding, balance-sheet management, liquidity and treasury risk.
  • Proven experience leading Treasury teams, supervising dealers and developing team members.
  • Strong ALCO and senior-management exposure, with experience providing treasury analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills with established relationships across financial institutions, regulators and market participants.
