Join a well-established financial services organisation as a GL Accountant on a 5 months contract supporting finance operations across Singapore and Hong Kong. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, accrual accounting and stakeholder management within a dynamic and regulated environment.

Our client is a leading global financial institution with a long-standing presence across Asia and major financial markets worldwide.

Job Description

  • Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and cost accounting activities.
  • Prepare monthly accruals and ensure expenses are recognised accurately within the correct reporting periods.
  • Perform journal posting, account reconciliations and financial transaction reviews.
  • Support month-end closing processes and preparation of management financial reports.
  • Review and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding, documentation and timely approvals.
  • Assist with GST claims and maintain supporting documentation to meet compliance requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to resolve accounting and finance-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in accounting, finance operations or financial reporting environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of general ledger accounting, accruals and month-end closing activities.
