Take full ownership of a new purpose-built live entertainment venue in Singapore, leading the business from pre-opening and mobilisation through to full operations.This is a high-profile leadership role combining commercial strategy, venue operations, programming, customer experience and stakeholder management, with the opportunity to shape the identity and long-term success of a major new entertainment destination.

Our client is a leading international live entertainment and venue operator with a strong global track record across concerts, touring, festivals, ticketing and venue management.

The organisation works with major international and regional artists, promoters and entertainment partners, and is continuing to expand its venue footprint across Asia. This new Singapore venue will form part of that growth strategy and is designed to become a year-round destination for live music, entertainment, experiential events and community programming.

Job Description

  • Lead the full mobilisation and opening of the venue, including operational readiness, systems implementation, commissioning, procurement and launch planning.
  • Own the venue's annual business plan, budget, P&L and commercial performance across ticketing, venue hire, F&B, sponsorship, merchandise and other revenue streams.
  • Develop a strong year-round programming calendar spanning live music, entertainment, private events and other experiential formats.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with promoters, agents, artists, event organisers, commercial partners, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
  • Recruit, develop and lead the senior leadership team across operations, production, commercial, marketing, security, F&B, finance, technology and other functions.
  • Establish high standards across customer experience, artist experience, hospitality, safety, compliance and overall venue operations.
  • Shape the venue's market positioning, commercial partnerships and reputation while identifying new revenue and audience development opportunities.



The Successful Applicant

  • More than 10 years of senior leadership experience within live entertainment, music, events, festivals, touring, venues or a closely related industry.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across both commercial and operational functions.
  • Strong understanding of live entertainment economics, including venue hire, ticketing, promoter relationships, sponsorship and ancillary revenue streams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasting, commercial negotiations and overall business performance.
  • Experience developing event or programming calendars and working with promoters, agents, artists or event organisers.
  • Strong exposure to venue operations, mobilisation, procurement, systems implementation, safety, licensing and regulatory compliance.
  • Senior leadership presence with the ability to represent a venue externally with partners, stakeholders, artists and industry groups.
  • Flexibility to work around live event schedules, including evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.
