With an institutional-quality operating environment and a collaborative culture, the firm employs sophisticated trading strategies across a range of asset classes and maintains relationships with leading global prime brokers, custodians and fund service providers.As the business continues to grow, the firm is looking for an experienced Fund Operations Manager that will be work on a broad spectrum of Fund Operation duties in a Hedge Fund.Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution and control of daily fund operations, including:* Oversee the complete trade lifecycle from execution through to settlement across multiple asset classes* Perform daily reconciliations of cash, positions and transactions while investigating and resolving discrepancies* Manage operational activities relating to financing, collateral movements, stock borrow transactions and corporate actions* Review fund accounting outputs including NAV calculations, investor allocations and management/performance fees* Liaise with prime brokers, custodians, fund administrators, auditors and external service providers on operational matters* Support periodic financial reporting, audits, regulatory obligations and operational control processes* Maintain and enhance OMS/PMS platforms while identifying opportunities for automation and workflow improvementThe Successful Applicant* Minimum 5 years of relevant hedge fund operations experience gained within a fund manager, fund administrator, prime broker or similar investment environment* Demonstrated experience managing trade operations across equities, equity swaps, total return swaps, futures and options* Strong understanding of daily cash, security position and transaction reconciliation processes* Experience reviewing NAV packages and validating management and performance fee calculations* Hands-on experience working with OMS/PMS platforms such as Enfusion or comparable investment management systems* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting capabilities* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills when working with internal and external counterpartiesWhat's on OfferThis opportunity offers exposure to a growing hedge fund with direct interaction across investment, operations and external counterparties.
