We are seeking a Front End Developer to join a technology team within the insurance industry in Singapore. This onsite, temporary role focuses on developing and enhancing user-friendly web interfaces to support the organisation's digital initiatives.

Job Description

  • Develop and enhance web applications using ReactJS and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable front-end components.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, backend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure applications are optimized for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Participate in testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work with database technologies to support data-driven application development.
  • Contribute to deployment and release processes using version control and automation tools.
  • Translate complex business calculations and pricing logic into robust application functionality.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience developing web applications with ReactJS, JavaScript, Redux, and Hooks.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and web performance optimization.
  • Ability to interpret business logic and convert complex calculations into clean, maintainable code.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and project collaboration platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills



Nice to Have

  • Experience with Node.js and backend integration.
  • Exposure to AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases.
