Job Description

  • Oversee operational activities across exchange-traded derivatives, securities and clearing functions.
  • Ensure the accurate execution of trade lifecycle events, settlements, reconciliations and exception management.
  • Partner with trading, risk, finance, technology and external market participants to maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies, trade breaks and settlement issues within established timelines.
  • Support the launch of new products, market initiatives and business expansion projects from an operational perspective.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls and scalability across the operating model.
  • Contribute to technology enhancement projects, testing programmes and operational transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Min 5 years of experience within capital markets operations, derivatives operations, clearing operations or securities operations.
  • Strong understanding of futures, options, exchange-traded products and associated trade lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working with clearing workflows, settlements, reconciliations and position management activities.
  • Knowledge of operational controls, risk management practices and regulatory requirements within financial markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational incidents and coordinate resolution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting business growth initiatives, new product launches or operational change programmes.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
