Job Description

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will support a range of actuarial activities across experience studies, fund management, and business initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in experience monitoring and analysis to support actuarial decision-making.
  • Support assumption setting exercises and sensitivity testing activities.
  • Contribute to the management and reporting of actuarial and business insights.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management information for key stakeholders.
  • Participate in product onboarding and implementation initiatives.
  • Provide actuarial support for ad hoc projects and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

You will ideally possess:

  • Min 2 years of actuarial experience, preferably within life insurance or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Exposure to actuarial modelling or data analytics tools such as Prophet, SQL, or Python would be advantageous.
  • Progress toward actuarial professional qualifications is preferred but not essential.
