Job Description

  • Support financial reporting and disclosure requirements for listed entities
  • Review and analyse SEC reporting requirements and 20-F disclosures
  • Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting position papers and memoranda
  • Assist clients with IFRS and US GAAP accounting considerations
  • Support management in discussions with external auditors
  • Evaluate SOX and internal control environments and identify control deficiencies
  • Review financial statement disclosures, MD&A sections and non-GAAP reconciliations
  • Collaborate with client finance teams and project stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline
  • CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience within Big 4 Audit, Accounting Advisory, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting or a related function
  • Exposure to SEC reporting, 20-F filings, Foreign Private Issuers (FPI) or US-listed environments
  • Familiarity with PCAOB standards, SOX controls and US GAAP reporting requirements
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS and/or US GAAP
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced consulting environment
