Job Description

  • Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal and commercial support across the organisation's development, investment and operational activities. Key responsibilities include:
  • Advising business units and senior stakeholders on legal, regulatory and commercial matters relating to real estate investments and development projects
  • Structuring, negotiating, drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreements, transaction documents and corporate contracts
  • Supporting acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, financing arrangements and other strategic investment transactions
  • Identifying, assessing and mitigating legal risks while delivering practical and commercially focused solutions
  • Managing and coordinating external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal support
  • Contributing to the development of internal policies, governance frameworks, legal templates and process improvements
  • Supporting dispute resolution matters, compliance initiatives and selected corporate secretarial activities where required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager, Legal should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law minimum 6 years' post-qualification experience
  • Experience gained within a reputable law firm and/or an in-house legal function
  • Strong background in real estate, property, construction, corporate or investment transactions
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex transactions, including M&A and joint venture arrangements
  • Exposure to cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional legal matters
  • Strong negotiation, contract drafting and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk against business objectives
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
