Job Description

  • Provide analysis, prepare functional and technical specifications, and perform coding and unit testing for new developments, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Develop solutions that integrate smoothly with external systems.
  • Collaborate with IT users across ANZ and SEA to ensure accuracy during the requirements analysis and project definition phases.
  • Partner with the IT Manager to regularly review and achieve personal, departmental, and company objectives.
  • Deliver Level 1-3 support for the Service Desk (ANZ & SEA), including code analysis and troubleshooting of reported ERP system issues.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Strong understanding of coding best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative ideas and execute them effectively in a collaborative, distributed environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing efficient business solutions.
  • Technical expertise in RPG, RPGLE, CL, and SQL development.
  • Knowledge of using IO programs for file access and employing copybooks for common RPG functions.
  • In-depth understanding of the IBM i platform and operating system.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and functionalities.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
