Job Description

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth work flows and timely dispatches.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to minimise discrepancies.
  • Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with the logistics department to optimise supply chain processes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess warehouse efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and operational reviews.
  • Ensure warehouse operations meet ISO9001, ISO14001, and safety standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering or a related study.
  • Possess minimally 7 years of warehouse management experience, with minimally 5 years in a team management role
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics processes.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
