Our client is a leading FinTech company providing a one-stop digital payment solutions for merchants and financial institutions to accept a comprehensive suite of payment methods in emerging markets across Southeast Asia. As part of their growth, there is now an opportunity for a rising star to join their team as VP, Regulatory Compliance.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, VP, Regulatory Compliance will be involved in :-

  • Leading the regulatory engagement and act as point of contact with various regulatory and enforcement authorities and agencies.
  • Keeping up to date of relevant regulatory developments relating to payments or remittance and advise management on potential road blocks or implications.
  • Working closely with other internal functions and teams to ensure overall compliance to all applicable regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Liaising with key-stakeholders to support and fulfil any regulatory or external audit or assessment requirements.

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, the VP, Regulatory Compliance should meet the following criteria :-

  • At least 10 years of regulatory compliance experience within a e-commerce, payments or financial services.
  • Strong regulatory compliance knowledge and skills especially in payments/remittance.
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines and adapt to a fast paced work environment.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
