Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsNewly created role to set up the desk and functionCompetitive salary with excellent benefitsAbout Our ClientOur client is a renowned global alternatives investment management firm with hundreds of billion in assets under management.Job DescriptionAct as a key member of a dedicated middle office team that serves as a hub for private deals and facilitates private deal closing activitiesCoordinate with internal stakeholders globally and external counterparties to ensure accurate and efficient deal fundings, asset set up, investment monitoring and reporting accuracyReview private deal pipeline on a regular basis to ensure that all deals are tracked in a timely mannerAnalyze legal documents, such as credit agreements and fee letters, to identify critical terms for each private dealAssist in managing all banking, custodian and facility relationships across the credit platformOversee outside stakeholder reporting and communication with banks, rating agencies, co-investors, auditors, or other partiesDevelop a complete understanding of the roles and responsibilities, systems and processes across each internal functional group, and serve as a central point of contact between the Investment Team and the back office.Partner with investment professionals, outside and internal counsel, tax, accounting and compliance professionals to ensure good cross-functional communication and coordination throughout the investment process.Participate in developing and documenting operational policies, procedures and controlsEnsure proper operational procedures and controls are followed and maintained, with appropriate escalation to stakeholdersSupport document management for private credit dealsAnalyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvementsAssist in process improvements and automation as well as the development of longer-term systemic solutionsThe Successful Applicant8+ years of relevant experience working in an operations capacity at an asset management company, investment bank or other financial services company3+ years of experience in private credit investment operations and middle-office support, including experience reviewing private credit documents (credit agreements, amendments, etc.) for key terms, data points and operational nuancesStrong knowledge of private credit fund concepts across a range of strategies, including corporate direct lending.
