Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Credit, the VP, Credit Risk (Leverage Finance) will be involved in the following :-

  • Prepare credit applications, including due diligence, financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and negotiation of commercial and financing agreements.
  • Manage underwriting processes, emphasizing risk assessment, analysing historical performance, security and legal structure.
  • Conduct thorough risk analysis for leveraged loans in the Asia region.
  • Oversee post-approval processes, including closing and first disbursement, portfolio performance monitoring, and handling requests for consents, waivers, and amendments.

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, the potential VP, Credit Risk (Leverage Finance) should meet the following criteria :-

  • At least 7 years of credit risk experience, specializing leveraged finance transactions in the Asia region.
  • Keen ability to identify and assess risks in transactions and evaluate risk mitigation measures.
  • Familiarity with jurisdictional differences in major Asian geographies related to security and guarantees.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
