Our client is a leading Payment Services company providing a one-stop digital payment solutions for merchants and financial institutions to accept a comprehensive suite of payment methods in emerging markets across Southeast Asia. As part of their growth, there is now an opportunity for a rising star to join their team as a VP, AML Quality Assurance.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Head of AML, the VP, AML Quality Assurance will be involved in the following :-

  • Ensure that the controls implemented for the AML program are fit for purpose and align with regulatory requirements.
  • Verify the improvement outcomes regarding deficiencies in AML mechanisms and risk issues.
  • Regularly providing updates on risks and controls to the AML team.
  • Identify and investigate significant risk events.

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, the potential VP, AML Quality Assurance should meet the following criteria :-

  • At least 10 years of AML Quality Assurance experience within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services regulations, compliance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and writing skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a digestible format for a diverse audience.
  • Proactive and diligent teamwork, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
