Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with global and regional trade laws and customs regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Mitigate compliance risks through proactive audits, training, and process improvements.
  • Oversee customs clearance, trade licenses, and documentation for the seamless import/export of goods.
  • Support sites across APAC with trade compliance matters, providing expertise and training.
  • Work with government agencies, customs brokers, and internal teams to optimize trade processes.
  • Align regional trade compliance initiatives with global policies.
  • Implement best practices to enhance trade efficiency while maintaining compliance.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and legal teams to streamline trade operations.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, Law, Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in import/export compliance within a multinational environment.
  • Expert knowledge of international trade laws, export controls, and customs regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills-able to navigate cross-functional and cross-border collaboration.
  • Good communication skills and team player.
