Job Description

  • Lead and develop a local team of telecom engineers, elevating technical excellence and growing competencies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Define and validate system requirements for fibre networks, radio systems, WiFi, CCTV, and critical railway communications.
  • Ensure all designs are technically robust, compliant with customer and contract requirements, and aligned with overall project objectives.
  • Engage customers in technical working groups, capture real user needs, and translate them into actionable engineering solutions.
  • Represent the company in high-level technical discussions and interface meetings.
  • Manage and coordinate design solutions across onshore and offshore engineering teams.
  • Align multiple business units to deliver a seamless, integrated telecom system.
  • Support Project Managers and Technical Directors on scope definition, variations, and claim management.
  • Guide Test & Commissioning activities from a system-engineering perspective, ensuring requirements are fully met.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering
  • At least 10+ years in international telecom engineering projects
  • At least 5+ years in a Telecom Lead / Technical Lead role
  • Strong experience with fibre optic networks, radio systems (TETRA/LTE/5G), WiFi, CCTV, IP networks
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams
  • Experience engaging customers at technical boards or forums
  • Rail, metro, or transportation project experience
  • Hands-on knowledge in interface management
  • Familiarity with T&C processes
  • Strength in coaching, developing talent, and building high-performance teams
