About Our Client
Our client is a reputable data centre and network infrastructure provider globally that serves a myriad of industries including healthcare, network, energy, computing and more. With the industry shifting more into the areas of Internet of Things, 5G network, smart cities and more, the importance of Micro Data Centres have become more prevalent nowadays. As such, our client is looking for a Technical Sales Manager who has good hands-on experience in network infrastructure and datacentres to spearhead the development in the ASEAN region.
Job Description
- Oversee both pre-sales and post-sales advice on verified company's business leads including the placement of Enterprise and Data Centre in complicated network environment
- Work on technical proposals, present and verify with customers
- Support Account Managers and Product Managers on value quantification and expression on company's product offerings
- Provide technical advice for distributors, channel partners and customers, coaching on technical sales techniques
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (commercial team, partners and customers) to drive and implement new leads
- Conduct product introduction tour for business partners/customers/distributors effectively
- Implement technical training for sales team/new hires/partners/distributors
- Propose technical plans and conduct technical presentations autonomously and competently
- Self-starter and eager to study and adopt innovative technology through self-learning and official certification
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or relevant fields
- More than 5 years' pre and post sales experience within the datacentre and network infrastructure sectors
- Authorized certificates related to Data Centre will be required (e.g. CCNA/CCNP/CDCP)
- Basic understanding of Enterprise, Structure Cabling standards and Data Centre Infrastructure design will be beneficial for the role
- Experience in system integrator is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to maintain and strengthen customer and partnership relationships
- Willingness to travel
