Job Description

  • Contribute to achieving the company's vision and objectives by developing and implementing technical governance policies aligned with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead training programs to enhance employee awareness of technical governance requirements and ensure the team shares knowledge of industry standards and services.
  • Represent the company on relevant technical committees to support the technical strategy and identify investment opportunities in capital and workforce.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement in technical governance practices.
  • Provide guidance on quality management, accreditation, certification, and inspection processes to support technical governance-related matters.
  • Lead technical product sector review meetings across divisions to share knowledge and contribute to strategy development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent adherence to technical governance standards while complying with all company policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Science, with experience in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Extensive understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry, along with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong background in quality management systems, accreditation processes, and inspection and certification procedures.
  • Possesses excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for addressing technical governance challenges, with proficiency in technology tools and software relevant to technical governance and quality assurance.
  • Active participation in professional networks and organizations, with a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders, complemented by leadership abilities to guide teams toward achieving technical governance objectives.
