Job Description

As a Technical Analyst (SAP Basis - DB Admin), you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery and support of SAP Technical, SAP BASIS & DB Admin activities for the SAP landscape and integration/data interfaces to legacy and third-party systems
  • Extending the business value extracted from the existing services
  • Maintenance and safeguarding of the environment to ensure that all configuration and development objects are migrated properly and consistent across the landscape
  • Implementation and maintenance of multiple SAP instances
  • Direct participation and coordination with planning and implementation of SAP upgrades, support pack applications, hot packs, kernel updates using both structured and non-structured methodologies
  • Adherence to SAP Standards and best practice in the management of Implicit and explicit enhancements, screen exits, and menu exits
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

The Successful Applicant

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • 6+ years working experience in SAP BASIS and DB Administration for SAP systems
  • 4+ years Full Lifecycle implementations (SAP R/3 or ECC6) modules with cross-functional experience
  • Good understanding of the applications/software development life cycle
  • Experience in delivering IT technical service and process in line with ITIL methodology
