Job Description

  • Develop and implement group-wide tax strategies aligned with business objectives and overall group policies
  • Formulate tax strategies to support M&A, financing, and other strategic initiatives
  • Advise senior leadership on tax implications of business decisions and legislative changes
  • Identify and leverage tax incentives and planning opportunities to optimise the global effective tax rate
  • Ensure IFRS-compliant tax provisions and accurate tax disclosures in financial reporting
  • Establish robust internal tax policies and risk management frameworks
  • Build strong relationships with tax authorities and external advisors
  • Mentor and develop tax team members to strengthen technical and strategic capabilities

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with 13+ years of progressive experience in tax leadership roles
  • Proven ability to shape tax strategy across APAC, combining experience in Big 4 advisory and multinational corporations
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to identify planning opportunities and proactively reduce tax exposure
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders and tax authorities independently
  • Deep technical expertise, with a commitment to staying ahead of evolving tax regulations and leveraging tax incentives for business advantage
  • Demonstrated agility in implementing tax strategies and adapting to changes in a dynamic global tax landscape
