Job Description

1) HR Operations

- Responsible for recruitment, payroll, statutory social security, tax deductions, annual income tax returns, medical programme, pension programme for India local employees and Vietnam local employees.

- Working closely with management to manage employee relation issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and grievances for India and Vietnam local employees.

2) Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Succession Planning

- Plan, develop and implement and communicate Employer Branding, Employee Value Proposition (EVP), Recruitment Sourcing, Social Media presence and partnership with schools and vendors for the region.

- Develop a talent pipeline and expert candidates within the region. This role will nurture and develop talents through establishing a regional talent pool and facilitate Talent Reviews and Succession Plans.

- Carry out global talent management strategy into the region to ensure the company can recruit, retain and develop the most talented people.

- Enhance company's reputation as employer of choice in the region through ongoing innovation, building the employer brand, value proposition and talent acquisition capability.

- Liaison to Corporate Talent Management COE for the region

3) Diversity & Inclusion

- This role will oversee driving the company's diversity agenda through pulse checks, sponsorship of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other activities to foster an environment of diversity within the region.

- Carrying out the regional diversity and inclusion strategy and associated initiatives, contributing to the creation of conditions for a diverse workforce and inclusive culture that engages and enables employees.

4) Employee Culture & Engagement

- This role will be responsible for conducting annual employee surveys and ensuring actions are taken and monitored regionally.

5) Learning & Development

- Plan, develop and implement regional L&D and talent development programs, training catalogue and coaching engagements

- Deploy global catalogue into the region whilst creating region and country-specific programs.

- Facilitate Leadership Development initiatives (e.g. 360, coaching)

6) Performance Management

- This role will oversee the regional performance management cycle while ensuring equity through calibration sessions and providing clear criteria and guidance to employees and managers.

7) HR Process & Systems Management

- This role will oversee the regional implementation of a global HRIS System enabling the HR organisation to further expand global HR processes such as Talent Management and Performance Management, while allowing reporting of global and regional metrics and KPIs

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. A plus if majoring in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology / Organisational Development.
  • Essential 8-12 years' experience
  • Relevant Human Resource experience in a global organisation, in a regional role, working across several Asian countries.
  • Able to demonstrate success operating in a consultative role at a senior level, able to build relationships within all levels of organisation and can work in a team environment as a team member.
  • Advanced understanding of Human Resources, business management practices and practical application of HR theoretical principles.
  • Proven experience in change management and can apply change management approaches to enhance new initiatives and implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Singapore local laws, statutory and tax requirements. A plus, if familiar with India/Vietnam local laws, statutory and tax requirements.
  • A plus, if have worked with Oracle as a HRIS system.
