About Our Client

Our client is a leading global financial firm, providing a broad range of innovative reinsurance solutions to its clients including insurers and large corporation. The firm operates in over 100 countries globally and is present in nine countries including Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan within the APAC region. Singapore is the APAC regional office, which the HR team is located in. The Talent Acquisition Associate is a newly created role and is responsible for driving the talent acquisition activities in the region.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the TA Lead, APAC, the role is based in Singapore and is part of the Global Talent Acquisition team and Regional HR APAC team. This role will be primarily responsible for attracting and delivering high performance hires to the business in Asia Pacific and participate in creating a talent pipeline for global talent acquisition needs. Some key responsibilities of this role will include:

Candidate Sourcing

  • Perform effective sourcing in recruitment across the business
  • Partner with TA Lead to build candidate pipelines for business by active sourcing, market mapping and pipeline documenting as well as direct support on specific searches
  • Utilise internal career platform, LinkedIn, and other platforms to source candidates and promote employer branding

Campus Recruitment

  • Manage and deliver annual internship recruitment for all functions at the regional level
  • Engage and partner with hiring managers to anticipate intern resources needs
  • Source, interview, and recruit interns
  • Manage and maintain partnerships with key universities in the region
  • Organise and participate in University and Actuarial Society's career fairs with hiring managers
  • Participate in the establishment of graduate program

Recruitment Operations and Administration

  • For all recruitments, perform effective and efficient TA operations to ensure high-quality delivery of recruitment for the business
  • Offer administrative help to hiring managers such as interview arrangements, follow ups
  • Execute consistently Talent Acquisition operational tasks including Oracle system workflow, contract drafting and signing follow-up, background checks, onboarding preparations
  • Handle recruitment related administration, contract with providers, invoices with finance team
  • Track regularly pre-defined sourcing metrics and maintain an efficient reporting

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • 3 or more years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably in financial services
  • Proficient sourcing skills on LinkedIn
  • Campus recruitment experience will be an added advantage
  • Detailed and meticulous mindset
  • Strong in problem solving and situation analysis
  • Resilient and positive in facing challenges and setbacks
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to promote Employer Brand while reaching out to candidates on various platforms
