Job Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Support and administrate backup infrastructure on Veritas NetBackup products and Data Domain appliances.
- Manage the planning, infrastructure design, stakeholder management, release and implementation, and post-implementation activities across the backup and archiving platform.
- Maintains and monitors NetBackup servers and Enterprise IBM tape libraries.
- Manage, plan and perform the maintenance, upgrades and patches installations.
- Responsible for storage infrastructure system management including capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning, security management, etc.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you will have:
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in System Administration, with hands-on experience in Veritas Netbackup products and DataDomain appliances
- Experience in installation and upgrade of Netbackup product & DataDomain
- Knowledge in VMware DCV/VMware VDI will be advantageous
- Abiity to work independently with minimal supervision
