We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and implement system, storage, and security configurations across on-premise and cloud environments. The role involves project-based deployment, OS hardening, patching, system migration, and close collaboration with project managers to deliver infrastructure solutions.

Our client is a smart security and integrated services provider headquartered in Singapore.

Job Description

  • Participate in IT infrastructure and data centre projects or managed services as required.
  • Responsible for the installation, implementation, configuration, and testing of system and storage setups.
  • Perform OS hardening, patching, and updates on servers and virtual machines.
  • Plan, document, and execute system migrations, including the development of implementation, migration, and acceptance test plans.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any identified issues.
  • Provide system architecture design and planning for new infrastructure deployments in both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and coordinate implementation tasks.
  • Prepare detailed as-built documentation for project handover.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or IT related studies
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in IT industry with at least 2 years in systems & security.
  • Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol In-depth knowledge in systems security issues
  • Hands-on experience in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be an added advantage.
  • IT Certification in system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies will be an added advantage
