This contract position is based in Singapore and requires a focus on technical excellence and system architecture expertise.This is 1 year agency contract role (renewable contract).

Job Description

General Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the IT architecture roadmap and landscape for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic objectives.
  • Lead architectural design and planning across key initiatives, delivering solution blueprints, architecture runways, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and evaluating trade-offs.
  • Support architecture governance by managing technical debt, enforcing standards, and maintaining architectural guidelines.
  • Drive proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies and tools that support business innovation and transformation.



Client Management :

  • Collaborate within the Architecture Centre of Excellence (COE) to contribute to the bank's overall IT architecture strategy.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to project teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with business goals.



The Successful Applicant

A successful System Architect- CRM/CLM should have:

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Atleast 10 years of enterprise system design and implementation experience in banking, private banking/wealth management.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and Client Lifecycle Management platforms.
  • Skilled in BPM, workflow automation, account opening, periodic reviews, and KYC.
  • Familiar with MAS and HKMA compliance requirements.
  • Experience with TOGAF or Zachman architecture frameworks.
  • Proficient in Java EE, Spring Boot, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on with APIs, file transfers, IBM MQ, Integration Bus, and Confluent Kafka.
  • Solid understanding of financial/capital markets.
  • Awareness of data governance and cloud/DevOps practices.
