About Our Client
Client is a European bank with global presence in Singapore.
Job Description
- Identify potential FI and NBFI clients who are based in Singapore or Southeast/South Asia. Direct coverage to drive new revenues covering the relationships at both head office as well and branch level by providing quality trade, cash and working capital solutions.
- Identify opportunities and facilitate communication between product team and clients.
- Liaison with Bankers and Risk Team on credit application process and business plan of clients.
- Involve in the business development of cross border trade and payment products such as guarantees, letters of credit, LC financing, treasury and commercial payments, etc.
- Drive new revenues in the market while maintaining acceptable returns on risk.
- Identify and interpret the market drivers to source new opportunities.
- Maintain and build relationships with FI and NBFI, at both head office and branch level
- Collaborate with PDM on risk distribution - buy and sell in the secondary market
- Business potential analysis, pricing and service negotiation.
- Perform risk analysis, prepare and recommend credit proposals for approvals.
- Work proactively with product teams to cross sell products and services.
The Successful Applicant
1. Bachelor's degree and above
1. At least 8 years' banking experience in a global/regional financial institution
2. Sound knowledge of trade and cash solutions including:
a. Traditional trade products such as letters of credit, bank guarantees
b. Open account solutions
c. Cash and clearing products
3. Relationship and network at all levels with both the bank's head offices and branches
4. Strategic planning and results driven
5. Strong in business origination, structuring and execution capabilities.
6. Self-motivating and positive can-do attitude towards budget pressure and internal process complexity. Independent, collaborative and entrepreneurial mind-set with strong team spirits.
