As part of their expansion in the Asia Pacific region, they are seeking a talented and proactive Supply and Demand Planning Manager to lead our supply chain operations and customer service initiatives.Job DescriptionSupply and Demand Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive supply and demand planning strategies for the medical device portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. Analyze market trends, sales forecasts, and demand patterns to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and execute strategies to minimize excess and obsolete stock while meeting customer demands. Implement robust inventory control processes to improve efficiency and reduce holding costs.Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Lead the S&OP process for the Asia Pacific region, facilitating cross-functional collaboration between commercial, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on demand forecasts and production plans.Customer Service Oversight: Provide leadership and guidance to the customer service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Monitor service metrics, handle escalated customer inquiries, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with commercial teams, distributors, and global supply chain functions to understand market dynamics, demand variations, and customer requirements. Foster strong relationships to ensure accurate demand signals and effective supply planning.Global Supply Chain Coordination: Interface with the global supply chain organization to communicate regional demand requirements and proactively address supply constraints or disruptions. Ensure seamless communication and coordination between regional and global teams.Performance Analysis: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, customer service metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement. Generate regular reports and present performance insights to senior management.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize supply chain and customer service processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and customer experience.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.At least 5 years in supply chain and demand planning and some experience in the medical device industry or a related healthcare sector.Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand forecasting techniques.Experience overseeing supply chain operations in the Asia Pacific region is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with commercial teams, distributors, and global supply chain functions.Proficiency in using supply chain planning software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Previous experience in customer service management is a plus, with a focus on fostering a customer-centric culture and driving service excellence.What's on OfferThe candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring superior customer service in the Asia Pacific region.
