Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for procurement and supply chain.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost-effective contracts.
  • Manage supplier relationships and assess their performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing or a similar role in high mixed low volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Drive cost savings for the business.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
