About Our Client

Our client is an International Law Firm from the UK, covering multiple practices. They have established an office in Singapore in the recent years and growing really fast! They are not expanding their BD team, looking for a Senior BD&M Executive.

Job Description

  • Developing, reviewing and updating business planning and budgeting materials, participating in meetings, amending documents
  • Driving the client targeting initiative and work with key campaign leads as a trusted advisor
  • Acting as the point person for BD budget tracking for the offices, to ensure that campaign groups are keeping to pre-agreed budgets. Analyse expenses to track BD activity against business objectives, identifying any areas for improvement.
  • Lead the pitching process, from pre-pitch strategic discussion to document production and advice, including RFPs, credentials, statements of experience, client quotes/testimonials, basic research, partner and fee earner biographies and core factual/policy information. To support on pitch meetings and provide advice throughout the pitch process, and also be comfortable working, on occasion, to tight deadlines with limited guidance
  • Developing and maintaining the materials required to create pitch documents
  • Managing Asia marketing collateral, creating brochures, team sheets and other client facing materials in English and local languages as needed, ensuring that they are aligned with the brand specifications
  • Working with the relevant Knowledge Development Lawyers in generating legal content to support the client relationship, particularly in relation to client specific newsletter and significant changes to law
  • Produce, distribute, analyse and report on digital newsletters, legal updates
  • Manage the legal directories and award submissions process, working closely with the BD & Marketing Team and liaising with the Asian office partners and teams, along with the research teams to ensure that submissions are in the correct format and delivered on time
  • Coordinating sponsorship, event, or conference activity
  • Supporting the Manager, working with fee earners and Public Relations team, on the coordination of Public Relations activity for Asia
  • Undertaking ad hoc research on markets, sectors, industries, organisations and individuals of relevance to the Division

The Successful Applicant

  • About 5 years of experience in BD & Marketing in Law Firms
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of CRM systems such as InterAction
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - the role involving liaison with internal and external people at a senior level and internationally
