Job Description

  • Oversee daily shipping operations, including inbound, outbound, offshore shipments, and local deliveries.
  • Coordinate project shipping and delivery plans by collaborating with project managers and the purchasing team while aligning with project timelines.
  • Organize shipments and deliveries to ensure they meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct freight bidding in collaboration with the purchasing team to maintain competitive shipping costs.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm goods are ready for pickup as scheduled and gather necessary details for booking with forwarders.
  • Monitor all shipments and deliveries, update shipping schedules in the system, and prepare required documents for smooth customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with third-party warehouses to facilitate the transportation of materials and goods between suppliers and project sites.
  • Verify the accuracy of forwarder and courier invoices by cross-checking quotes and billings.
  • Regularly assess and review forwarders based on performance and pricing.
  • Work closely with Site Managers to ensure timely cargo deliveries to project locations.
  • Collaborate with Finance to support the Goods Receiving process in the system.
  • Maintain an organized filing system with updated shipping documents and forwarder quotations.
  • Generate shipment tracking reports as needed for customers or Project Managers and promptly respond to emails from Project Managers, Site Managers, customers, suppliers, and forwarders.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Shipping Coordinator should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in project logistics, shipping or tracking.
  • Knowledge of incoterms, import/export clearance.
  • Proficiency in managing logistical operations.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders in Taiwan.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in inventory management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with shipping software systems.
