About Our Client
Our client is a market leader in the marine engineering & manufacturing industry. They are headquartered in UK with established global operations and have been expanding steadily in Asia for many years. After many years of growth, they are now looking for a Shared Service Centre Lead to set up their Shared Service Centre for the region.
Reporting to the Head of SSC, you will lead and manage the Shared Services accounting team. You will oversee the smooth running of the Shared Services and ensure the accounting and reporting processes are in line with the group's policies. You will work closely with the UK HQ and ensure the policies, internal controls and processes are effectively implemented. You will work with external stakeholders across the region and also lead best practice reviews.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should be degree qualified CA/CPA, with 5-8 years of relevant experience, of which ideally at least 2 years gained in managing a SSC. You should possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success in driving performance and change management in a complex business environment. A highly motivated and versatile team player, you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are also highly analytical with good problem-solving skills. Experience in ERP implementation or upgrades will be highly advantageous.
