Known for its customer-centric approach, the company fosters long-term relationships and actively participates in yachting events, promoting sustainable practices and community engagement within the yachting industry.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of the Service Department to ensure high-quality, profitable, and efficient work within agreed financial budgets.Monitor and manage the department's running costs, implementing plans and budgets as part of ongoing management.Oversee service teams across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, ensuring their smooth and effective functioning.Evaluate existing practices across the region, identifying deficiencies and implementing plans to improve service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.Develop, implement, and review standard operating procedures to standardize service practices and define technical staff activities.Maintain health and safety standards to ensure compliance with regional laws and regulations.Establish and maintain a customer service index system to record and resolve client-reported faults efficiently.Collaborate with shipyards on warranty claims, assessing reported faults or defects, and managing warranty administration.Undertake other related tasks as reasonably requested or directed.The Successful ApplicantJob Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the marine industry.Broad understanding of modern pleasure vessel systems, including mechanical, electrical, water, air conditioning, refrigeration, and hydraulics.Strong command of written and spoken English, with the ability to read and understand service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, and to follow emailed instructions from shipyards, suppliers, and other relevant parties.Proficient in MS Office applications with excellent computer and internet skills.Leadership ability to coach team members on technical issues, provide appropriate testing and analytical data, and deliver reliable technical assessments of problems.Culturally sensitive, able to abide by local customs and standards, and maintain good relationships with clients, staff, and contractors.Engaging and confident interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels.A passion for customer-focused service and a drive to succeed and excel.What's on OfferThe company offers a competitive compensation package that includes an attractive salary with potential bonuses and incentives.
