The incumbent will be part of the mobile engineering team, responsible for supporting the full SDLC projects using Agile methodology for new and existing applications. He/she will be developing in Android environment using Java and Kotlin languages mainly.

About Our Client

We are partnering with a fast growing start-up organisation in the tech security industry, headquartered in US.

Job Description

  • To support the full software development lifecycle for new and existing mobile applications, SDKs and RESTful services
  • Able to lead and mentor a small team of engineers
  • Able to build reusable Android software components and develop mobile frameworks based on best practices
  • To be involved in the design, development, testing and distribution of our mobile SDKs for Android
  • Keeping up with the latest mobile technologies, devices, tools and conventions

The Successful Applicant

  • Has at least 5 years of working experience in mobile development
  • Strong experience with Java and Kotlin languages and developing in Android SDKs
  • Has experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design, unit testing and UI testing techniques
  • Familiar with Android development tools such as Xcode, CocoaPods, Android Studio, Gradle, Fastlane
