About Our Client

Our client is a leader in specialty chemicals and advanced materials, that are supplying to various industries like transportation, electronics, plastic, renewable energy, and more. Looking for an individual to lead their business development team in the region, that has experience working with Industrial Adhesive that collaborates closely with distributors and sells to the construction industry.

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for the adhesive businesses (Construction, Transportation & Food Label) and their future growth in Asia Pacific Region.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the P&L, Sales forecasting, and management of inventory
  • Giving guidance and direction to the team and distributors to achieve the target
  • Accountable for all the partnerships across the region
  • Good understanding of market trends, demands, and requirements across all territories in the region
  • Strategize and deploy business plan as per customer's needs
  • In charge of short-term to long-term business plans to optimize revenue target
  • Conduct market study, identify and reach out to current key accounts and potential customer
  • Penetrate and increase market share
  • Accountable for pricing strategy based on market/competitor study
  • Being the brand ambassador, bringing excitement and influencing key decision-maker
  • Organize and conduct activities like roadshows, training, and workshop
  • Prepare timely reports on P&L, to management on a monthly and annual basis

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors' Degree in chemistry, business, engineering, or any related field (A Master's Degree will be a plus)
  • Experience in handling P&L in a leadership position in any organization with business over 5Mil Euro
  • At least 7 years of leadership experience in industrial Adhesive/construction product/multi-channel management environment
  • Strong customer-facing experience with a cross-functional relationship with various internal stakeholders like operations manufacturing and supply chain
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and effective leadership
  • Good proficiency with CRM systems/tools will be a plus
