Job Description

  • Lead clinical research and health services studies, ensuring all activities are compliant with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Draft and review research papers and to present research outcomes.
  • Design and execute research protocols in alignment with organisational and scientific goals.
  • Perform grant administrative matters such as extension requests, submission of claims etc.
  • Analyse and interpret clinical data, preparing comprehensive reports and publications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate research findings into practice.
  • Supervise and mentor junior researchers and support staff in the life sciences department.
  • Represent the organisation at conferences and seminars, showcasing research outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Research Fellow (Clinical Research) should have:

  • A PhD or Degree in Nursing or Medicine.
  • At least 4 years of experience in medical research.
  • Extensive experience in medical clinical research within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to design and implement research protocols independently.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in interpreting clinical data.
  • Proficiency in health services research (HSR) and applied statistics
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in machine learning to solve healthcare related problems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
