They are currently seeking for a high committed Senior Procurement Manager (NPI) to join their dynamic team to contribute to the business.

Job Description

  • Project management of all assigned programs to ensure on time completion and that key requirements are met
  • Be a key driver in early phase innovation discussion with program managers, design engineers in the manufacturing phase and partner in cost reduction activates
  • New product sourcing and managing end to end procurement processes for new product development and launch
  • Ensuring that the product cost, quality and availability is maintained during full project life cycle with your team
  • To achieve savings through cost down/New Product Introduction (NPI) projects with the teams
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • To ensure that assigned products/module cost model are up to date and timely maintained
  • To qualify new suppliers, negotiate and review on their terms and mitigate risk to meet project cost, quality, business goals and on time delivery
  • Perform regular business reviews of the suppliers and build lasting relationship to ensure best quality and cost of product in line with business directions.
  • Driving short term and long term cost reduction improve by seizing opportunity to negotiate on prices
  • Carry out lead time analyst and identify critical paths to priorities demand requirements
  • Interpret business challengers and able to provide recommendations in line with industry best practices to drive business optimization and change

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 8 years of procurement or New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
  • Experience working in Semiconductor/ Manufacturing industry
  • Understand Bill of Material (BOM) structure, able to interpret technical drawings and familiar with change management
  • Working knowledge of geometic tolerances
  • Great communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management experience and good negotiation skills
  • Able to travel
