Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end supplier management, including sourcing, negotiations, and relationship building to ensure quality, reliability, and favorable terms
  • Oversee demand planning and procurement forecasting, ensuring optimal stock levels and alignment with business objectives
  • Strategically manage inventory to maintain product availability, prevent shortages, and optimise stock efficiency
  • Drive market intelligence and competitive pricing strategies by monitoring industry trends, benchmarking, and cost movements
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to align procurement decisions with commercial priorities and operational needs
  • Analyse product performance, identify underperforming items, and recommend actions to optimise the product portfolio
  • Prepare and present actionable insights and reports to support data-driven decisions and long-term procurement strategies

The Successful Applicant

  • Possess at least 2 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing, preferably in the FMCG or F&B sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to develop pricing strategies, forecast demand, and optimise inventory for business impact
  • Skilled in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms, ensure quality, and maintain reliable supply
  • Proficient in leveraging Excel, ERP, or inventory systems to drive data-informed procurement decisions
  • Knowledge of food ingredients, or wholesale distribution is advantageous
  • Self-driven, detail-conscious, and accountable, with a proactive approach to solving challenges
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Comfortable with a five-and-a-half-day workweek
