About Our Client

  • Client is a stable and well established family office with a global presence in Singapore, India & the United Kingdom. The Group's portfolio ranges from traditional asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives such as Real Estate. They are currently looking for a Senior Operations & Finance Executive to support the VP of Finance in managing the daily finance and investment related operations of the team.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, your key responsibilities would include:

  • Bank account management, administration and compliance
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining a central database of accurate and up to date records of signatories, bank mandates and online access for all bank accounts
  • Support in opening of new bank / custody accounts
  • Accurate and timely preparation and processing of all payments including vendor invoices, funds transfers, reimbursements, investment related transactions and personal expenses of the family
  • Tracking the budgets, arranging authorizations including recording of accounting entries
  • Billing and Preparation of invoices for quarterly investment management fees
  • Cash Management and Monitor cash and fixed deposit balances in all (multicurrency) accounts and be able to provide relevant information for liquidity decisions
  • Work with investments team, custodian and/or banks/investment managers to support subscription/redemption process and KYC requests from investee companies
  • Support investment execution and settlement process where it relates to funds transfers and trade settlements
  • Periodic reconciliation of statements from various parties including custodian, banks, investment managers and/or systems
  • Assist in annual audited/unaudited financial statements preparation process
  • Assist with GST computation and submission process

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or relevant disciplines
  • At least 4 years of experience in Private Banking Operations or from a Fund/Family Office
  • Good understanding of banking products e.g. Time deposits and loans: rollovers, calculation of interest; wire transfers; etc
  • Experienced in tax filing, GST computation and payments
  • Able to work independently and yet be able to communicate and collaborate with the team
  • Exposure to corporate administration or compliance is an added advantage
