About Our Client
Our client is a Fortune 500 company in the FMCG space who owns and produces various exciting products. They have a huge global presence and operate in over 28 locations worldwide. They are now looking to hire a Senior Media Manager to develop Media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, e-commerce connection and ultimately product sales.
Job Description
The Senior Media Manager will work closely with other cross-functional departments, and report directly to the Business Development Director for SEA.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead collaboration with the agencies to deliver integrated media strategies across multiple channels including video (TV + Digital), display, social media, influencer, and eCommerce media.
- Work closely with brand team to translate brand strategy into media strategy, and then to translate the strategy into detailed media plans.
- Partner with regional media team to align with global/regional media strategies and best practices, and to support initiatives to improve media and eCommerce capabilities across the region.
- Partner with regional marketing & media teams and Global Content to Commerce team to ensure global/regional assets are well designed for local market needs.
- Partner with the eCommerce & Business Teams to drive critical marketing partnerships with key eCommerce platforms in the Region including Lazada, Shopee & Amazon.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- 5 or more years experience in media/digital/eCommerce media management (can be agencies or in-house)
- Prior experience working with eCommerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, etc.) to secure marketing packages, such as buying of banner slots/ placement ads/ bartering of traffic in return for better brand placement during key campaign periods
- A solid understanding of integrated media channels, with emphasis on digital channels & eCommerce media
- Proven track-record of contributing to the delivery of high-quality campaigns with first to market executions
- Ability to work closely and effectively with teams in a matrix environment; including manage and collaborate with vendors and agencies to achieve agreed upon goals
