About Our Client

Our client is a leading organization in the industrial manufacturing and energy sector, seeking a seasoned supply chain leader to oversee procurement, warehouse, logistics and supplier quality across the APAC region.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement regional procurement, logistics and supply chain strategies that support business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Source, assess and onboard suppliers to build a reliable, high-quality supply chain, ensuring compliance and driving supplier performance.
  • Execute regional sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, manage risk and uphold ethical and sustainable practices.
  • Oversee inventory management, JIT delivery, compliance and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Qualify new suppliers, lead root cause analysis and monitor performance to support new product launches.
  • Perform detailed analyses to guide informed buy-or-make decisions, optimizing procurement activities and resource allocation.
  • Develop and lead a cross-functional team, align regional operations with global KPIs, manage budgets and foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with global headquarters to synchronize regional procurement efforts with corporate goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management within manufacturing/OEM/energy sectors.
  • Proven leadership managing multi-site or regional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of regional procurement, logistics, supply chain and supplier quality.
  • ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle); Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution and strong negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Extensive experience building and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
